About Us

In 2005, Randall Pitcock and Russell Sisco began The Tool Guys, thus providing Bryan and College Station with a source for quality home remodeling and repair. Now, 18 years later, The Tool Guys enjoy a recognized presence in our community.

Meet The Tool Guys Team

Randall Pitcock

Randall Pitcock, The Tool GuysRandall enrolled as a freshman at Texas A&M University in 1976 to study Civil Engineering. He has called Bryan-College Station his home ever since. Early in his career, Randall was a Building Inspector for the City of Bryan. Later, he served as the Project Coordinator for the City of College Station’s Community Development Department.

Randall has worked in residential and commercial construction his entire life. It was no surprise when he and his wife, Sutton, began a homebuilding company in 1993. Randall soon became involved in Habitat for Humanity and Operation Finally Home (which provides homes for wounded veterans).

Another area of volunteerism came while Randall’s daughters attended A&M Consolidated High School. He was elected as a Trustee for the College Station Independent School District (CSISD) in 2004. He proudly served three consecutive terms including time on the Board’s Executive Committee where he served terms as Secretary, Vice President and Board President. Today, Randall is still intent on serving others as an active deacon at Central Church in College Station where he has been a member for more than 30 years.

Randall is knowledgeable and communicates clearly and effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients. He enjoys the collaborative aspect of each project and building relationships with our clients.

Sutton Pitcock

Sutton Pitcock, The Tool GuysYou could say that Sutton’s interest in residential construction began when she married Randall Pitcock almost 30 years ago. Together, they built a successful home building company and established an outstanding business reputation in the Bryan/College Station community. Jokingly referred to as “customer sensitivity training”, Randall and Sutton built their own personal residence eight times over the years, while raising their three daughters. In 2005, Sutton and Randall were awarded the prestigious “Torch Award” for marketplace ethics, presented by the Better Business Bureau.

Sutton is an integral part of The Tool Guys team. Her years of experience and exposure to residential construction make her invaluable to clients. She has served as the design and selections coordinator for both businesses and freelanced for other clients and local home builders. Sutton’s expertise lies in guiding clients through the “selections process” while providing exceptional customer service. She facilitates communication between The Tool Guys, clients, vendors, and subcontractors as materials are approved, ordered, and installed. Sutton’s goal is to help each project progress efficiently and to keep the process as pain-free as possible for clients.

Jeff Hill

Jeff Hill, The Tool GuysJeff was born and raised in Bryan/College Station. He graduated from A&M Consolidated High School and attended Blinn College before graduating from the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Law Enforcement Academy in 1996. Jeff spent three years as a police officer in Hearne, Texas and over 20 years as a police officer with the Round Rock Texas Police Department before retiring in 2020. The last 14 years of his law enforcement career were spent as a detective in the Criminal Investigation Division (CID). Jeff was the lead detective on many high-profile cases which included murders, officer-involved shootings, and extremely complex crime scenes. Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Robbery Investigators of Texas (RIOT).

Prior to his law enforcement career, Jeff worked in the construction industry as a framing carpenter for some of the Brazos Valley’s premier builders and worked for a successful remodeling company where he became knowledgeable in many trades. Jeff holds a Professional Home Inspector license by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Jeff has been married to his wife, Kimberly, for over 20 years and they have two adult children, Ethan and Avery. With their children off to college, Jeff and Kimberly suddenly found themselves to be empty-nesters and decided to return HOME to the Brazos Valley.

As a result of Jeff’s experience as a former detective and home inspector, his approach to construction is thorough and detail-oriented. Jeff enjoys working with clients, vendors and subcontractors. His favorite part of being a Tool Guy is managing projects from start to finish…and seeing spaces transformed.
